i need help in putting performance into my 2001 Trans am ls1 6 speed .. i really dont even no where to start would like some ideas Thanks

That all depends on your budget. For a fun car I'd talk to PatrickG and get a custom cam, headers, and a tune. Should be all the fun you'll ever need.

just a flow master exhaust ..i kinda plan on adding parts as i get money i just kinda need a list to go by you know some good parts, i know a little i mean i know i would proably need to start with air filter or intake but im not forsure

I would sell the flow master and get true duals u will love the sound better and the flow alot better !

I agree! I believe the flowmasters lose power on these cars don't they? Either way I love my true duals.

I would not go with true duals right away....maybe later when you have reached your performance goals invest in some true duals..true duals is an expensive way to pick up only 5-10 more HP over a good cat back exhaust...a lid, headers, a good cat back, and a cam with valve train upgrades will get you to over 400 RWHP and a high fun factor. Instead of listening to a bunch of people on here and get 50 different discriptions call some real professionals like Texas Speed, Vengeance Racing, Speed Inc., ect., ect. You can tell them your goals and they will tell you the best way to obtain them for the least money. Good luck with your car...
