Cam shaft will be in the 235/240 range around 112 lsa with over .600 lift on both sides.

Sounds like a good combo, 28 degrees of timing might be too much.
My old 422ci was somewhere around 11.75:1 and I ran 25 degrees of timing, it only gained like 3rwhp going from 25 degrees to 28, 30, and then 31, and it was not worth it.

Thanks Pro Stock John, crazy deal on these pistons. Had to go with the 6.0 heads but wanted to make sure that doing so was still going to be safe enough over a 5.3, LS1 or LS6 casting. Didnt want to have to find new pistons
Would running a colder plug be benificial? What plug do you recommend? Will be doing a mail order tune, so i will request 25 degrees of timing.
