My DD NA car is solid 11's with a 228r, 383, stage 2.5 heads, 2800 converter, 3.55 rear . That is on DRs with a **** 1.7 60'. A little more work or more stall and high 10's for sure. all options with AC.

Some may call BS on this, but I get around 25 MPG on highway. A good tuner can work on highway speed tuning.

So the 228r would take off about half a second in the 1/4?

What part of Kansas do you live in? If you live near KC, there are plenty of tuners and local shops that will serve you well.... I know that House of Boost is a very reputable tuner in Lenexa, KS. Go look at their website and poke around..... They are reallllllly gooood......www.houseofboost.com. Custom dyno tunes and much, much more!

Have TSP do a custom grind w/LSL lobes, 227(.614")/227(.614") w/111 or 112lsa
or a 230(.612")/230(.604") w/XFI lobes.

The nittos will be the reason you don't make 11s if you don't make it I would bet.

Well some people still use their cars for commuting. I however think the money would have been better spent on a pair of 16 inch stockers with an ET Street on them for your track days or nights on the prowl. Everyday use you can run your stock street tires. Best of both worlds.

Hell yeah, I keep sumis on one set to run in the rain or cold months or trips or whatever. I ran the drag radials all last year to accumulate my grand total of 1300 miles

I don't see a reason why you couldn't hit 11s with a couple more boltons and good traction, perhaps some minor weight reduction as well?

I don't really have any weight reduction to do... The only thing I was thinking about maybe taking the catback off and relocating the battery to the back.
