Default X1 or TR230/224

Im thinking about swapping out my 226/226 XER Comp Cam out for one of these. Im just wondering if It would be worth the extra money on one of these cams? The motor is out the car so labor isnt a problem.

What kind of gains should I expect? This will be on a stock headed car but WANT it to be able to work with some ported heads. I will have a set soon and dont want to have to swap again.

I would jump on the deal that Thunder Racing has right now, you can get the 230/224 for $387!

Goto thier website and look at the dyno of the stock headed car with this cam.

I am doing a complete rebuild and looked at the X1 vs the TR230/224, I went with the TR cam.

I like the XER cams. Someone needs to have MTI get them a 230/224 XER and try that out. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I like the X1, more duration will make more power.....Not much difference however. Please post your results, whatever cam you choose.
