Default How to degree a TSP220

Quick ? I am installing a TSP220 into a 5.3 and I got a double roller timing chain set along with it. The smaller sprocket has -8 through +8 in 2 degree increments, which one do I have to set it at? Do I need a degree wheel? How many degrees should I have with the 220? Thanks.....

that refers to cam retard/advance. just depends how you want to shift your torque and HP curves

So basically if I want to have it set for what they intended it to be just leave it at 0?

being a 220 yeah 0 isnt bad. basically if you want more low end torque and to hit the peak power later go with a negative advance. if you want to hit the HP sooner with a little less low end torque (this is what id suggest for a street machine, less revs) go with a positive advance. I wouldnt go over 2 degrees either way though. Let me ask two questions, what vehicle is it (how heavy), and what transmission?
