Mls head gaskets reusable?
to my knowledge the only reusable head gasket ive ever heard of was a copper one. with other head gaskets if you run them at all the answers pretty much no, but if you just torque them down and notice a problem and pop them right back off you might get away with reusing them maybe 7 out of 10 times (not saying its a good idea to try).

I have heard the MLS gaskets are reusable. However, that doesnt mean I would trust them. I mean who the hell wants those kind of problems where you have leaks or coolant dumping into your oil and you have to go back and remove the heads. I have also heard that MLS gaskets are less forgiving for unmilled surfaces. So if I was not going to mill the heads flat I would run the regular $20 Fel-Pro specials. I have always milled the heads in the past and they have always sealed.

I have reused Cometic MLS (.045), twice... no leaks. I was also using ARP head studs. This was with AFR205s, 62cc.
BTW, I use the copper spray sealant also.
