if hes building a motor, i would assume he has valve reliefs in the piston for the cam.

My buddy has a 408 t56 with trickflow 225s and made 511/472 and has run 10.80 on motor at 3600 lbs for his 2nd time at the track ever. Car has a lot left in it as well. Can't go wrong with trickflows.

Might checkout the PRC 237 heads. Also look for the Hot Rod magazine cathedral head shootout. The PRC 237 heads flowed the most air of all the competitors & had potential to really shine had the shootout not been so intake manifold limited. Take some time to study the data, I think you'll find the PRC 237 is a great option! not to mention they're about to be on a BIG SALE & are setup for stock rocker assemblies.

TFS has more PTV than a stock head because the valve angle is rolled back to 13.5* Unmilled that head/cam should even clear a flattop...

If it's a 403ci then the after market pistons come with valve reliefs.

I am getting my 402ci together as we speak. Those heads will work fine for that build. I am using the Trick Flow 215cnc heads opened up to a 4" chamber with a custom cam. The point of all this is to get a cam built for your application unless you aren't trying to get the most out of your combination. Just a thought..

There is no doubt your heads make power but lets be sure to let them know that after market heads like AFR or Trick Flow wasn't tested in that test.
