is this normal?? i started rippen my engine apart for the new cam and fast intake. when i took the ls6 intake off there was a little oil in the runners.

yep....thats actually really clean compared to many engines I have seen. The oil is mostly comming into the intake by way of the PCV system. In addition to that, some oil leaks past the rings/valve stems on stock engines (mass production quality) and gets worked up the intake port at low RPM.
ie: don't worry about it....just wipe it out and keep going
