DJ you have a strong running car but stealthy it aint
Haha ya I've got nothing to hide around here..it actually helps keep the slow ricers away and scared lol.. saves me gas that way

I wanted at least 11.5's or lower, SOMBitch, do you think this can be done with around 420 whp through a stall? My car is almost touching 11.9's as it sits with no weight reduction so I figure an extra 60 rwhp should drop 5 tenths, am I just being too optimistic???

I think you can hit 11s easy at Cecil and go 11.7s without touching the cam easy there as well with some more bolt ons.

That is an awesome time for your power level Maybe it is in your car because some cars just seem to react to mods better than others When I had was making 417rwhp with a H/C/I and SS3600 I ran 12.0's and never understood how a buddies F14 cam only SS3600 car beat me every time and ran 11.7/11.8 Part of it I think is being lowered hurt me putting the power down because he out 60' me too but sorry for digressing.

Maybe I am wrong and you are on the right track I hope so

I am right up the road from you so let me know when you are gonna hit CP some time and I'll try to meet up...

@ Mike, my car's best with a decent tire was a 12.03 @ 112.7 mph, I have now installed an UDP, ported the throttle body, and seal the airbox to help the cold air induction, I think I have close to 114 trap speeds now, but time will tell when I make my visit to cecil in early May, right before cruise week in O.C.
@ SOMBitch, thank you for the support, are you close to Jacksonville because I would love to meet my clone car, just without all the internal work done lol.
Also surprised your car didn't go faster with the mods, guess i won't be lowering my ride after all.

Yeah Joe I am right up the road in Kinston and swung by CP last weekend since I was already in New Bern that a.m. anyway. That's where I saw DJ's car run Yeah I agree we need to get the clones together lol. Good photo op since not many ROM cars out there

You have a strong car because you are already trapping 1 mph more than my H/C/I car did.....NICE

I finally have my driveline vibration issue solved so the DR's will go on soon and I can get a new ET. Will be crossing fingers the 10 bolt holds

you can go with a much larger cam and still be stealthy. i dont think a cheater will get you into low 11's, that cam is probly good for 25 hp. i may be wrong but i thin k that cam is onoly like 215 degrees of duration. you just need a wider LSA to keep it stock sounding

I made 414/372 with P+P'd 243 heads from Wheel 2 Wheel (bought off member here.) Also with a PatG Cam and LS6 intake with ported stock TB. In the process of a 102/102 swap now. I should have numbers by June. (Gotta save $$$ for a dyno tune) Ran a 12.13 my second time ever at the track. The thing that gets me is when people say "Well, at your power level, you won't notice much of a gain by switching intakes or injeectors." My power is low BECAUSE of the damn intake AND my injectors being maxed out! Ahhem, ported STOCK TB!

@ SOMBitch, I'll send you a pm as soon as the car gets outta the shop, let a friend with a cobra drive my car and kinda let it get outta hand, enough to hit a tree... He had never driven a car that powerful before he said lol. It should be back around the beginning of march.
To the above posters: Some of you are maybe misunderstanding, I will be running a CheatR cam with ported 243 heads, which I think is enough to touch mid 11's. Should be around 410-420 whp through the stall.

^^Yessir!!!^^^ Ported LS6 heads can be had on a budget it seems versus Patriot or AFR heads, still debating on Cheatr vs Custom grind, but the first goal I had before doing so was to touch 11's which will be as soon as I get the car outta the shop. When it's all said and done with the new hood I should be saving 100 lbs off the curb weight . Considering i hit a 12.03 at a little over 113 before I have high hopes this next time around.
