Default ls2 t chain

is the ls2 chain a good upgrade and what oil pump can i use with it. is the crank sproket hard to remove off the crank. does the crank have a notch. thanks.

can i use the ls1 timming chain gear on crank and cam gear or need new ones

Good upgrade if you are on a budget. You can run either a stock style GM pump or a Melling either one. Both shoudn't have clearance issues on a single chain. The lower gear isn't hard to get off. A small puller will do it. It is keyed as well. I would line it up dot to dot before you remove it so it is easier to put back together. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I bought the LS2 chain kit and the Ported Oil Pump from Texas Speed. When I looked at my stock crank sprocket I decided to just go ahead and reuse it and just use the LS2 chanin and top sprocket. The Ported LS6 pump fit great.
