408 HP projections ?

Default 408 HP projections ?

I have a LQ4 engine ,4.00 stroker crank,rods, will buy pistons on hpprojections??flat top pistons,??? What HP projections would it have with L92 heads,LS3 intake - TB, I know this is vague, but what combination would be best , or go with243 heads and LS6 intake ?? Any info would be apprec-d !! Thanks

Open for cam specs, any other info ?? it will have a T56, 3:55 gears, 335-30-18"s, 66 nova body full chassis, have 1 7/8 headers built, Want it to be a nasty lope, through 2 1/2 exhaust -x-pipe,, Open for suggestions !!!

with L92's you wont be able to go with a very big cam... mid 230's at most... and thats way too small for a 408 and wont even chop...even with -10cc Valve reliefs its still a tight fit with most cams.

I suggest you get rid of those crappy L92's and get something with some room in them to be able to utilize a bigger cam...more like something in the mid 240's minimum... maybe even mid 250's

2.5 exhaust is going to choke the living hell out of it... its already choking a 346 in a lot of xcars.
need atleast 3" or preferrably 3.5" or even a 4"y single out the back

I cant give you a guess on HP... but if you stay with L92's dont expect to make over 500 to the rear wheels...its very hard to hit 500 with L92's... plenty of proof in the 408 post in the dyno section
