Valve Lifter Ls7 I am thinking of upgrading Valve Lifters

Do you change the length of the pushrods if the Valve Lifters were changed?

GMPP refers to them as the Cadillac lifter because like Cadillac they're the companies top of the line lifters, they outperform the stock ls7 lifter, which is why they arent as cheaply priced as the ls7 lifters.
They dont refer to them as caddy lifters because they are top of the line. They refer to them as caddy lifters because they were actually used in the Cadillac CTS-VR race car.
The lifters are a direct replacement for all GEN 1,2,3,4 engines. I went to purchase new lifters for my LT1 at the dealership and learned that the LT1 part number had been replaced with the LS7 lifter part number. The counter guy then informed me about the "Cadi" racing lifter which has the same body but is built to sustain higher rpm's. The lifters are used in the GM C5R Corvette and the CTS_V. I just don't want the op being confused as to if the lifter will fit his application.
