Default help with 383 stroker (thx in adv.)

hi buds,

im running a stock ls1 block which just went bad (bottom end)

i just purchased a 383 balanced stroker kit:

4.0" eagle crank

6.200 Eagle RODS

ARIAS PISTONS 3.905 BORE -3.12CC (Short skirts)

CleviteŽ Crank and Rod bearings

My Question that i need help with before i bolt things up is:

im running patriot stage 2 heads (((59 CC))) 227 runners 2.02 intake valve

and Comp Cam (Lobe 111 lift low 600's)

will this setup work with my heads? whats the best way to do this having in mind i have no more cash for new heads, im trying to extract the max hp/tq with this setup without running Nitrous/SC/TC.

ps: stock ls1(2001 Commodore SS) heads in Store room.. i really dont want to use these(REALLY DON'T)

much appreciated, thanks a ton in advance

the duration of the cam is much more important then the lift and lobe seperation. So whats the duration and what are your goals (what do you want) out of the car?

Quite sure the pros will chime in but you'll be safe with that cam. Maybe 450rwhp range. I ran the same duration cam in my 383 before deciding to go bigger.
