I don't know what kind of fucktard stops in the middle of building an engine. I mean the dude just stopped. The car has HP tuning software on it and it came with a really shitty tune. The car was running so rich it stalled constantly at idle. The guys at Carolina Speed Shop added over 50 RWHP just tuning the car correctly. It has a wideband gauge set up and 7 custom gauges to read everything. I really don't know why **** was so fucked up. It really wouldn't surprise me if the springs are stock. I'll post pics of everything to include my broken spring and anything else i might find. All the help is greatly appreciated

Is it stalled? If so, what size... Again, I'm just curious. I do want to see pics tho.

You may find that it was all stock on the inside. Hate to tell you that, but it seems to be the way it goes in this industry. Lots of slimy people out there just looking to make a quick buck off of someone who earned it properly.

Wait, this is an automatic making 465rwhp?! I figured it was a stick, but it could be a friendly dyno too.

My car is a 6-speed. I know that's a pretty good amount of horsepower at the wheels for, what I am finding out, is mostly stock LS6 parts. I am curious to pull the heads just to see what I find. The guy who built the car put a considerable amount of money into it. It has an off road H-pipe exhaust, complete with headers, and like I said, HP tuners software. It looks like he had a good start, but never fininshed the job. My goal is to finish what he started. Hell, my car only has 52,000 miles on it. I figure, if the car was built, correctly, I wouldn't be having these problems.

Would a dropped valve cause a motor to have REALLY low oil pressure?

a collapsed lifter is a different thing to a DROPED VALVE

the collapsed lifter shouldn't do any damage
just noisy and run ruff on 7 Cy's

the dropped valve however is a major tear down and could result in a new engine( at worst )

I think I dropped one last night in my LT1. I was running extremely rich, and also had a ticking from number 6 or 8. I went to start it to move it into my garage and CLUNK... Now the starter just whines. I have a feeling the valve fell and locked everything up. WHAT JOY!
