ORY size and exhaust questions

Im looking around to install some lts on my ls1 swap formula.
my question will i have any problems if i find a 2.5 in ORY or 3 in.?
im not looking to do a lot of racing but want good sound and
flow.
and also i have 2.5 in tail pipes coming out of my magnaflow catback muffler
will i be okay leaving it at that or going to 3in?

A 2.5" ORY should do fine assuming its a stock LS1. You figure your going to be merging into a single 3" catback anyways. In addition, if your lowered 3" ORY will scrape alot. Ask me how i know.
