5.3 Engine
5.3 Engine Whats goin on guys, i've got the parts to finally build my 5.3, and i was wondering with my setup how much rwhp i'd be looking at, I'm putting an LS6 cam, springs and rods in it, stock 5.3 heads, LT's, LS1 intake and TB, as well as electric fans, and no AC. I've also got my T56, and ill probably be running 3.73 gears in the rear. Anybody running a setup similar to this? its goin in my 81. I know its a question asked time and time again, but i'd like to get an estimate before i start putting things together, and i understand that i should put an LS6 intake and a bigger cam in it, but money is kinda tight right now, and i'd like the engine to run at this point, unless somebody wants to sell me parts on the cheap.
