Some excellent points being made here. Bottom line: Get the rod and piston out of that thing and be sure. Take it to a machine shop and have them make sure it's straight. Hell, just replace the rod and be done with it.

He posted a cpl pics early in the thread . Fuel can and will hydraulic a rod . The key is fuel in only 1 or 2 cylinders and the engine starting normally and bam .
