Default black smoke

my cat throws black smoke when i start it up and it suck gas like crazy.. the check engine light is turning on and its giving out the o2 codes.. i bought them and had the engine tune 4 yrs ago and never had an issue till now..can it be the o2 sencors went bad or it needs tuning.. pls help

sounds like its running fat. i would replace the o2s if that is the code its throwing

Yup, definately sounds rich,,,replace the O2s and then the problem should Go away.

ok thanx guys.. im going to replace the o2s to see ho it goes.. if the plroblem persists do u think is the tuning? it hasd been tune before

as already stated seems to be running rich i would recomend changing the o2's.

If the check engine light doesn't go away after replacing the o2 sensors, use a scanner to clear the codes.
