Can ABS delete cause a missfire?
Can ABS delete cause a missfire? I am now kind of stumped on this missfire and now I think it could be pcm related. I swapped my t56 for a th350 and I cut the wires that run from the tranny and then cut the VSS wires then wired it to there. I am pretty sure the reluctor wheel is on the crank right. The car starts and runs but my tune is spot on 14.7afr lots of driving and tuning time but when I put it in closed loop my 02 sensor on bank 2 was going really positive +16 and not coming down and bank 1 the trims were almost 0 going up to +3 and down -3 showing that bank was running almost perfect. So I got the little spark plug tester from advance were you plug it into the wire and you can see if its getting spark so I checked bank 2 of course and all the coils on that side seemed to be firing then they would stop?? Checked ohms through the harness all the way to the coils then checked the coil harness 0 ohms through all of them so my harness seems to be in good shape. So im looking at coil packs or pcm related. I have heard a crank relearn procedure could be necessary which I can do on hp tuners but I cannot clear all my dtc codes which would be p0300 missfire. So I can't really do that. But some cars don't they link the crank sensor with the VSS not sure but I think that could be my problem this is a long post I know but to buy new coils is expensive if its not them.
