I'm surprised that none else has noted it, so I feel I have to. What about the CheaTR v.3 cam?

Wanted to bump this back up since I have the same thoughts as the OP. My ca is my dd that will never see the track. Gmmg catback with stock heads and manifolds. I'm interested in a cam that won't give me any big reliability issues, just looking for a little more hp nothing to crazy.

Plan to pick up some mac mids with a catted y later on. Fwiw mine is a 99 A4 with stock gears and 90 k on the clock.

OP what were your results?

Go with long tube headers or leave the manifolds. Very, very little is gained from mids.
