need professional help. im putting a ls1 in my 07 xrunner. im wanting to put a cam intake and bigger tb on it soon. i like the tsp ms3 sound. i want a 3600-3800 stall. the gears in my truck are 3.15s and tire dia is 27" does this sound like a good cam. it will be a dd. i also want to know if i use the ms3 cam will i have to fly cut my pistons if i dont change my heads.
i always clay the piston on any cam .
if running stock heads you should be ok but better safe than sorry you drop a valve or kiss one at the track . that is why i always clay . never know if someone shaved a head or decked a block unless you have owned it since brand new .
the 3.15 gear is a bit small as it will take a minute to get in the powerband of the ms3 .
the stall wil help but you will have a high mph across the 1/4 . going with a high three or low 4 gear selection .
