Default Help me build 700+hp na ls1

My brother and I are building a street legal sprint car, to keep weight down we're looking at a high compression ls1. Im thinking solid roller 14.5:1 compression E85 motor. what components would you guys use to build the motor? I would like to keep the budget at 10 grand or less.

Why LS1? That is going to be a very hard and expensive task.

This was my initial thought also, however a friend of mine(outlaw 10.5) was
@ INDY cylinder head having his old DART 18deg. big chief heads welded
and made into ovals and he was tellin' me that a high compression 402LS
engine was on the dyno and just made 930 ponies. The guy was tellin my
pal that he could market this combo for just over 10 LARGE

LS3 block at 4.070" bore with a 4.100" stroke crank to make 427 cubic inches, ported LS3 heads, or TFS 235 heads with turned down LS3 intake valves, aggressive hyd roller (you can't do solid roller under 10G) and a carb intake is the only way I can see to do it that cheap.

My LS7 block 454 with a hyd roller cam, TFS 245 heads and a Fast 102 made 705hp, but it can't be built for 10G.
