Pushrod length question..
YES! I know I need to measure and I will to make sure but the car is my daily so I only have a weekend to do it and cant have it sitting while I await pushrods for it. I want to order a set which seems to be the right size then measure just to be sure. I've heard a 7.425 is what I would need though. Let me know, thanks guys!

I totally understand where you are coming from with wanting a good educated guess on length so that you don't have to have your car down for another week waiting for pushrods. that's why i am sick and tired of hearing people telling you to measure first. measuring is important, but i think it's best to buy the pushrods you think are to correct and THEN measure... with all the smart people on the forum 95% of the time it's going to be within spec.

hahaThanks though, looks like I'll be goin with the 7.425 for now since I'm leaving the heads/lifters alone until I get some 243s and ls7s, then I'll be back with some 7.4s. I completely agree though, better to have the pushrods you think you should use and double check rather than measure then wait a week for them to come UNLESS you have it as a second car, then put it down and measure.
