Oil looked perfect by the way.... So I pulled the heads and intake. To find that all 8 pistons had one single valve hit. no bent push rods, and no head or valve damage... So after close inspection, there is no piston damage. Just a shallow indent of a valve on each. Now im pulling the trans to inspect the clutch carnage...

Is damage in bellhousing area in the tranny or engine bellhousings....or both? If its the tranny and you have the removable bellhousing then you might just have to pull the tranny and replace the bolt on housing after you de-fk your clutch....and dont forget to change your windshield wiper blades too. If its your engine bellhousing then you might wanna be searching for a block! OUCH!
Sounds like your clutch didnt like the 8000rpm's......
Sorry i couldnt resist.

I would pull the timing cover and inspect the timing set. And chances are if you slapped valves you are going to need work, if it just slightly bent a valve they probably dammaged the head...

Gentleman you might want to read the OP's #11 post....
"I cant beleave it, I have holes all around in my bellhousing.. like something let loose and rotated just bashing around inside the bell housing clutch area??"
He needs to pull that tranny and see if the engine blocks bellhousing is fragged or cracked. Why waste any money or time on the engine....that might be a boat anchor or atleast a good candidate to be melted down and recast as one anyway.

Damn, missed that one... Might be a salvageable motor for a few miles, I have a friend that did something similar, so he did a home job fly cut and rocked it. Did fine for a long time.

Ok, Trans is on the ground.. **** me! what a pain in the ***. I had to hammer a screw driver up the side to split the driver side dowel area. Spliting the trans from the engine took me 2 hours of fighting and violence.. lol
The trans damage was caused by a bolt that came completely out of the flywheel. It was a pressure plate bolt. After tear down of the top half of the engine, and removing the trans. I turned the crank over a few times by hand and its money! Im very happy about that..
So far I know I need:
New:
T56 bell housing
New Clutch kit
Flywheel
All the Gaskets
Better Heads, assembled
Probly should do better lifters
push rods
Timing Chain
Cam
I cant think of a good reason to put stock parts back on anything....
While all my **** is ripped apart, I may as well go big!!

Good deal! Bellhousing is for tranny is alot cheaper than having to buy a whole motor! You can get that bellhousing from just about any salvage yard.
Try here for a search across the U.S. ! Most salvage yards ship anywhere.

Not to be a downer but that's the bad part about beating on a car that's your only ride or don't have a way to fix it. There's many ways to get out cheaper than BUILDING the engine but remember. Pick 2 - cheap, fast, reliable. If you engine is good, leave it alone. You can get a stock clutch setup for <$400. Also after you get the clutch in, it REQUIRES a break in period. I know you're gonna hot rod it even if you go with the cheapest parts you can find but Atleast don't smoke the clutch after you put it in.

If your trying to keep it on the cheap side but still have a good reliable combo you could do some stock 799's or 243s for around 400 bucks then get a decent cam spec'd by Patrick G or Geoff, for the clutch you could just get an ls7 which is around 450 to the wheels maybe even a tad more. With that combo you should be thumping down around 425 to the wheels which would be one fun ride and budget friendly atleast in the cam mod world lol
