Hi, new here.

While pulling my 5.3 from my truck I broke the vacuum fitting for the fuel pressure reg line.

Its the fitting about the middle of the intake that points straight up on the left side.
It looks like the plug will pop out as there are several "blank" plugs with +'s on them.

Haven't tried popping it out yet and was checking here first before I screwed it up even more.

If not, I plan to cut the elbow off flush then drill and tap it and screw in a brass fitting.

So what ya think?

grind it drill it and use a brass fitting

 

use some silicone or JB weld also.
