What kinda power and time do you run with that cam? I would'nt think it would be a problem to 430-440rwhp. My stock '02 crate ls6 is at 413 now.

Another vote for a custom grind cam here. My custom grind put my Torquer 2 to shame. That paired witht the fact that the 228R is on ice age XER, spring killing lobes, doesn't help. Geoff @ EPS and his proprietary lobes or even LSL lobes, make more power and less wear and tear on springs. That means you won't have to check seat pressure every 10k miles or so. Take it from someone who had an inner spring on .660s break due to the XERs aggressive ramps.

236/244 clip in sig... I don't DD it but only cause the gear killed my mpg. But I could very easily. I use it every other weekend to pull the boat to the lake, tow cars and quads...
