Regrind cams?

Regrind cams? just want to know what are your thoughts on regrind cams. Im planning to do a cam swap thats been postponed since my brothers car spun a bearing and now he is using the car i was planing to use when my car is down,
anyway I was planning on using a new regrind. the specs are 226/229 0.575 0.578 114
it is a regrind done on a stock cam, which i understood to be billet to begin with. let me know if this is a good idea.

I bought a ( fresh copy) cam off of ebay for a very good price, and it ran great...a year later a pulled it to go with a bigger one and all the lobes had bog deep grooves in them.... I guess after they ground it they didn't remember the cam right or not at all..... the quality comes from the retemper after the grind has been done and dome just don't cut it

Yes it was.... I have so much faith in his cans, that if you want to run it, I have a new/ never installed 238/242, .590/.595 112 lsa cam from him laying in my trash can that I will pull out and box up and send to you just for shipping cost lol
