installing katech rod bolts help!
I have read and the instructions say to remove tge ferrules. I have my 2000 z-28 ls1 apart and I don't see anything that looks like a ferrule? I am freaking out! Please help

Most had them, but o don't think all had them... sometimes they get stuck in the bolt holes in the cap and sometimes they come out with the bolts. If you can't see them you "might" not have any.
Try a new bolt and see if it slide in easy and treads right in...if it doesn't, then you need to pull the ferrules out

I really don't think there were any. Saw some other threads and some did and some didn't. Katech's instructions made it seem as if they all had them. Went together smooth, going to the dyno tomorrow. Fingers crossed! Haha

this is the Furrell in the rod cap;
Remove bolt all the way out:
Then reinstall the bolt only 1-2 turns. Then pull the bolt with pliers and wiggle it a little bit to free the furrell:
Here is cap WITHOUT it...
