LS6 243's are pretty common on corvette forum but really any 243/799 head will work great... AI or TEA both do sweet work so....

those are 2 of the 3 places i am considering. TEA is at the top of my list. they seem to care more about the "under the curve area" than most. and since i have a 100% street car thats what im shooting for. so im pretty sure TEA will get my heads

i was reading a fourm and apparently ls2 heads have 243 stamped on them too. ls6 heads have 243 stamped 2. i was planning on buying and putting them 0n my 02 silverado. is there a diference between ls2 and ls6. are they around the same price. will they both fit my 5.3. does anyone know a place whare i can buy new set of 243 or ls2 heads for a good price. stock ones. thanks.

i seen brand new ls2 heads for 349 each.with vales and everything would the ls2 head offer the same power a ls6 would.

^^^^^^ they are the exact same head casting. the ls6 243s just have sodium filled valves so the valves are a bit lighter

Complete ls6 head discontinued. I am removing my hollow valve 243 if interested. More then 450 though the valves only cost that
