by the looks of your sig your putting the 5.3 heads on a LQ4? what cam you goin to run?

another set of heads ive been looking at is the TF as cast 220 heads the only thing is if i do them i need to buy aftermarket rockers. they make great power buy the looks of a few builds ive seen on here.

No i had a trans am with the prc 5.3 heads and 228r cam and bolt ons and made 432rwhp could have got more but the 26pd inj was max out and had the ls6 intake and this was a ls1 not a lq4. The lq4 im going to replace stock rods and pistons with forged. Not to sure but im thinking about running ls3 top end with a custom cam ofcourse from patrick G.

This was my gain from going from popular 5.3's on here to TFS 220'S on a 346 .... You can now upgrade to the harder ductile iron guides for $100 IIRC and run stock rockers. I would do a shim kit too prolly.. More $$ but worth it in the long haul IMO

Damn that's a pretty big improvement over the 5.3 heads and I didn't know they came out with iron valve guides to run stock rockers

I'd like to see a comparision between the TF 220's and the PRC 2.5 LS6 heads, since the price difference between the 5.3's and 220's is about $450.

What do y'all think TSP's 5.3 2.5 heads would get me with a ASA cam on an LQ4?
