Surprised nobody mentioned this but it sounds like you have a bad u-joint on the driveshaft or the driveshaft is out of balance. I think I read you had the clutch done recently..? If they flipped the driveshaft 180 degrees when they put it back on then it can be out of balance. The thing is it's kind of hard to tell if the u-joint is bad unless you pull the driveshaft.

Does it "clunk" in the rear when you engage first gear?

^^Yes as LT1 previously stated bad u joints on your drive shaft will definitely cause a wobble at that low rpm, just for the fact it hasnt really built momentum yet. I would shoot for that first as I was also going to suggest you check your motor mounts.

No news yet. I've been looking for someone with a similar year camaro to see if my crank pulley is shaking more than theirs. Unfortunately I live in a rural part of Oklahoma and I haven't ran into anyone that I can compare engine pulleys with yet. (while there running) That's the only other thing I can think of doing other than spending money on new parts and take a chance on it being the problem.

No pulley on any car is suppose to shake or wobble. Just spin! if its clearly visible that the pulley is shaking then you need to take it off and re torque that can be very dangerous in all situations! and if necessary pin it!

Again I appreciate all the responses, they are the best tool a person can have to fix these type of issues. As far as the drive shaft, it's can't be that because it will shake when sitting still (parked) when I rev it slowly. And to the pulley, I don't know if I'm over emphasizing it. I think it is shaking a little but I called a friend in Washington and told him to look at his (he doesnt have any trouble with his) and he said it shakes a little bit. What is a little bit? That's my problem, I don't have another car to compare it to.

my car used to do something similar after changing out the flywheel and clutch... i never did **** about it cause the car seemed to run fine.. it was just a little annoying.. dove it for almost 100k miles before getting rid of it.. i honestly forgot it even did it.. i just chalked it up to normal behavior. i cant see the harmonic balancer doing anything like that unless it like broke and has a piece missing or something.. check it to make sure its in good condition.. i know sometimes they will have weights on em, just look for the weights, or any marks indicating a weight could have been there and fell off..

Darkcloud: I had a friend tell me that when you install a clutch that you are suppose to line up some marks or it could be out of balance. Nobody else has heard of this on here but does that souls like it could have been what happen to yours? My clutch was replaced just before I purchased it.

Ok I finnally got a video uploaded. The only way you can see the shake is by putting my hand on the steering wheel. You can see it shake from about 1300 to 2000 rpms. ( kinda hard to see but it's the best o could come up with to show it.

I guess the video didn't help anybody with some ideas of what the problem could be.

Looking for help still. i finally got the tools and checked the compression. all cylinders are fine, but when i was under it looking around i found the driver side exhaust is cracked all the way around right above the cat (where the cat is welded to the pipe coming off the stock exhaust manifold). would this cause the shake? got a 02 low volt code every once in a while. I figure its the air getting in the exhaust causing the bank one sensor two to trip the code. like i said it doesn't go off all the time just once in a while.Any ideas?
