Maybe they all wanted the same or similar result, so he spec'd all of them similar cams?

I believe there are two cams in this thread that are identical. Its not listed on the EPS sight and the ones listed didn't seem appealing to me for my goals. I got sold on them after being involved with three of them installed and running(quiet under the hood and they ran single valve spings despite having near 600 lift). My goals may have been the same as the other guys who got the identical one on this thread. Ill post up results after I install it. I wanted something that would get me low 11s NOW n/a at full weight on DRs,match my exisiting mods, would not destroy the motor(ie spinning it to the moon),could handle a set of heads in the future or perhaps a few more cubes and not a nightmare to tune with an A4. Only negative thing for me was the wait but it was expected.

No need to bash 01ss-he just stated his opinion.

You can't spec too many diff custom cams to people tha are full boltons and the normal mostly street/ some track use. If he has good results with a certain grind then id hope he'd recommend it to others with similar mods/goals

Looks like I'm starting to strike a nerve of some of the millions of EPS cheerleader's squad.

My point is, the reason you are seeing these cams specs being spec'd similar or identical is because some cams just work well. Thats how cams like the TR224 became what they are today. With every new "which cam" thread pops up, you have the same dipshits cramming "custom EPS" down your throat. When actuality, you will be buying something thats already been spec'd before that we all know works. I guess saying its "custom" just makes you feel so warm and fuzzy huh?

I'm an EPS dipshit and you are right to a point, however Geoff designed the
ever popular TR224 back in the day and he and Pat G. worked closely with
Billy Godbold @ Comp to design a lobe profile around .600 lift,Bhive compatible
and minimize the ever hated sewing machine noise. If you understand how
lobe flanks affect valvetrain harmonics you'ld also know that it's not snake
oil sales we're talkin about here. I DARE you to call Geoff and spend 15 min.
asking questions...perhaps you might even upgrade that Racer Brown stick
you're still runnin'

Care to explain what a racer brown stick is? Or are you trying to make your post more worthless then it already is?

So I'm a dipshit for recommending a EPS cam? If these cams were garbage and not worth a damn, then I would not....fact of the matter is they are proven performers. If you don't like it, I suggest grabbing a box of tissue for them tears because I'm gonna keep recommending them

I'm not taking any credit away from ANY cam vendors on this site. If thats what you got out of it then I'm not sure I can help you with your problems.

I never thought you'ld ask......Racer Brown was a cam grinder from the good
ol days like Schneider, Isky, Engle, Cam Dynamics, Clay Smith, Camonics, etc.
My point to you sir is quit knocking on those who are fans of the new and
improved technology if you're still running dinosaur stuff.

Well, here’s the deal. EPS is the best there is, plain and simple. I mean, Geoff wakes up in the morning and pisses excellence. And nobody can hang with his stuff. You know hes just a big American Cam designing machine. If you ain’t first you’re last. You know what I’m talking about?

HAHA had to do it!

Even I can admit.......most of that is probably true However, it would be nice if the cheerleading squad had something ELSE to offer "which cam for me" threads ya know? The pre-programmed responses are downright comical.

Reading your posts and seeing how much us EPS cheerleaders make you squirm is what's comical.

All in good fun sir I truly mean no harm

I just had this convo today I had Patrick G spec me a "custom" cam for a stock cube max effort cam only LS1....

I read the specs off to a friend who was building a 388 H/C setup who also had a "custom" cam speced

identical

Yes these cams perform well at least his smaller ones do I haven't seen any dynos of the larger ones.

But saying each cam is speced out based on your setup is complete BS
