oil pressure steady at 20
Ive put the oil pump together like 5 times with a new o-ring to and it keeps on staying steady at 20 lbs of presssure. Its a new tsp ported oil pump. All we have hooked up is the throttle body and crank pulley and we fire it up and it stays at 20 and thats it. Is it ok to run it at 20 or should we let it run for a while and is there anyway to make the oil pressure go up??

Agreed also try a 10W30 and see if you get a increase in pressure. Believe it or not according to Alldata, GM specifies 18 lbs of pressure at 2000 rpm hot and 24 lbs of pressure hot as minimum

My brother has been running 18 to 20 psig of pressure with an ARE ported oil pump for three or four years now. It had been at that pressure since he bought it with 9000 miles. Back then, he was worried and a little ticked that the pressure was the same at hot idle. (At cold idle, it did go up significantly!)
Last year, he had an H/C/I package installed at around 40K miles, and everything is still fine. He has driven it every day and is not easy on the car!
I think you are fine with that pressure.
