Come to think of it. It wouldn't be all bad.

Keep up the good work OP. Takes a lot of guts to go about things you have never done before.

I suspect you were close to the same power I have with the cheaterV3
since you ran 12.09, I honestly don't think mine will be that fast even though
it' only 3200lbs. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised. PM me with your tune
results....Geoffs cams work well !!!

Thanks for the kind words sir.....at times I felt I bit off more than I could
chew, but I just took my time and studied the hell outta this website and
it paid off. I now have over 2000 trouble-free miles and really love it.
Thanks to Crainholio for info on motoroil.....not that the valvetrain was real
loud but more than stock(expected).....I changed it recently to Mobil 0w40
European blend and I swear it's quieter than stock. Also tried new Autolite XP
iridiums w/.045 gap. The factory ones were @ .075-.080".

Job well done on your project.
Ever since you mentioned it the N2O doesn't seem like a bad idea. But at this point the last I believe that should be on my mind is how to spend more $ and make mine have more power... lol

Mine didn't get to happen this past Friday. My fuel pump took a **** shortly before the dyno session. Rescheduled for the end of the month. Thanks.

Fun Days @ Union Grove, WI.......got there late....4 lanes 20 deep at the
entrance gate 2:30 P.M....place was Hoppin'....First pass did a burnout
(not in the water) and left...YAWN...2.31 then hit fifth instead of third
stupid me 13.81 @ 90
Next pass no burnout...2.29 60ft.; 8.549 @ 87.78 1/8th and 12.92/114.34
this BABY stick makes such sweet torque that launching on the 8 year-old
runflats was just rediculous. Mickey T has a 265/40/18 that I definitely need
and my MPH would indicate that perhaps theres more than the mid 12s in her
that I had hoped for

WOW did these tires send notice how bad this car needs 4.10 gears. With
minimal burnout and 3800-4000 launch the sixty foots were between 1.83 &
1.90. Best pass 1/8th was 8.005 @ 91.37; 1000ft 10.347 and 12.299 @116.7
Shifting at 6500 and goin' through @ 6600 in third gear. Also ran 12.33, 12.37
all in the 116mph range....too bad vettes can't put a $200 ring and pinion set
no no no its like 2500 dollar assembly uugghh. side note: 58 degrees
and overcast with 10-12mph tailwind. Dash guage said 33.5 mpg mostly free-
way on the way home being 65 miles from the track. I'm very happy with how
this lightly modded LS1 would hang with a new base C6 and if at sometime in
the future I decide to trade some gas mileage (new rear-end) I feel it could run in the elevens.
