Default smoke coming out of dipstick?

i have some smoke coming out of the dipstick. i just changed the headgaskets because the driver side blew out. didnt do it before i tore it apart. Is it possible that the pcv system is clogged? i didnt think of cleaning it out. thanks for the help!

Do you think it could be moisture evaporating from the crankcase? Is it pushing the dipstick out or just smoking from it?

As you mentioned I would check you PCV system.

I hate to mention it, but are you sure the head gaskets were installed correctly?

Check your PCV valve to make sure it is operating correctly, Id replace it to be sure. If your motor isnt venting crankcase gases to the intake manifold it will try to get out anyway it can, but the oil dipstick is not a good place for it to do it.

Old thread but I'll like to revive it since I see valuable information. I'm having the same problem some smoke coming from dipstick not a lot but just small to alert me to be caution since I love my car.

I'll be purchasing a brand new PVC valve tomorrow. Now my question is how the heck you unclog hoses? I'm ready to do that ASAP!

Get a can of the aerosol Seafoam Deep Creep. Should clean it out well and be safe to use on the rubber and hard lines.

The deep creep comes in an aerosol can, kind of like brake or carb cleaner with a little straw attachment.

no bs. I changed pvc valve as a few of you recommended and wow! Big changes I've noticed, first it idles amazingly, second gas mileage has been great I've noticed. What a difference a $4 dollar part makes. I still have cleaned my pvc line but I will and have already purchased aerosol
Thanks all
