Default Horsepower per dollar

In the 500 to 750 HP range what is the least expensive build using the formula above?

Kind of a wide power band range isnt it? For part time power, I vote spray too. If you prefer full time...get the check book out.

Nitrous is the cheapest.... full time turbo it. You can crank up the boost the more you buid the motor.

Full boltons/cam/healthy nitrous shot. Should be in the 500+rwhp range. Cheap and efficient. Turbo/supercharger are $$$$$$. If you got the dough, do it. But I think you will have a lot of fun with a 400rwhp car full time, and 150 extra hp on demand, cause I do!!!

dont dismiss nitrous so easy... i bought a nitrous setup last fall and im gonna tell you with 100 shot kicking in its fun as hell... and thats only a 100 shot... should be around 520-530 rwhp with the juice. I had the same idea of hating to fill the bottle, but damn even spending all day at the 1/8th mile track i used only 6 pounds (did atleast 10 runs). What i did was get a 75 pound tank and just keep refilling my 10 lb bottle. Its cheaper and its convenient.... The other part i didnt think id like about nitrous is that the bottle runs out (one reason i did the refill setup) but after i realized it lasts quite a while it was less of a concern. I mean you have to refill gas too so everything runs out right... lol

edit, i just went back and read your last post if all you want is 500 at the crank that shouldnt be too hard to do with good heads and a healthy cam. Just put the nitrous on top of that and you'll be real happy

Might not even need the fast. 500 crank is right in the 430-440 rwhp range.

How to get there the cheapest way. HP per dollar?

I have had the Nos bug years ago but sill dont want to be filling and or turning the bottle on and off all the time...

Just like it anytime I want it......good ole N/A HP

You cold get the 500HP easy enough by spending money in several different arenas.. but whats the cheapest?

Nitrous is smart horsepower because it is the cheapest horsepower for the dollar.

He's only wanting 500hp to the crank. That can be done easily with h/c/i, no power adder needed.

ya hp for dollar i would vote spray. I mean you can get a decent deal on here every now and then for a sts kit, you will probably need to run 7 to 8 psi to make 500. But it will still be more than spray. Im going to try to make 500 0n my sts kit here soon.
