Nick spent allot of time with me last night going over my motor rebuild with me, pretty much answered every question I had and then some. I'm quite confident I'll get a better and more powerful 436 shipped back to me.

Thanks again,

Thanks again Dave and Wade. Can't wait to get my awesome 436 back in the car and running strong again.

I'm quite excited about it.
Lyle, you are welcome. Anybody can email me anytime regarding ARE or our products/pricing, even weekends, and I usually get back pretty fast. Thanks!

BTW, here's a C5R motor coming out to play soon.... 8)

Its a ARE 422 with C5R topend. It'll be in a Firebird drag car.

Not to get ahead of myself, but just curious really:

What if I bought an intake like that and C5R heads, would they work on my current 436 (everything else remaining the same). Would it be fine for a street car on pump gas?

RWHP/RWTQ possible N/A.

Over 640 RWHP with a six speed easy. Pump gas probably not

Cost very expensive

Very cool

So you think my A4 would make around 600-610 RWHP. How much on pump gas?

Thats sweet man. Add a progressive 300 DP shot and have the roll-race King.

How much would that and the machining cost from start to finish?

You would have to email them directly about this. Since they are not a sponsor they cannot provide pricing info or solicit business until they are back on as a sponsor.

To run C5R heads, you will also need C5R Jesel shaft rockers , and C5R pistons, pushrods...

No it's not gold , the customer wants it to remain private untill a few shake down runs and then all the info will be posted

Hopefully another mid 8 sec. LS1 F-Body

to make this pump gas friendly will be a TON of work and have problems. the cr5 setup is a VERY high compression motor as originally designed.

for your purposes of racing from a roll on bridges just stick with a reg lsx based super stroker.
