I wouldn't make assumptions about the margin we do or do not make on products. You simply do not have any knowledge on that matter to make such a statement.

I recommend duals because of the insurance and peace of mind they offer over a beehive when it comes to catastrophic failures, as well as for the longer life we can get from them.

I ran these for a while. Not too bad for a baby to somewhat mild cam.

Patriot Performance Part Number: 8501-B

Patriot Performance's Xtreme spring evolved from our Orginal Patriot Gold. The Xtreme spring is for power adder applications, heads uses large valves, and for aggressive cam profiles.
These complete spring consists of 16 Patriot Gold dual springs, 16 titanium retainers, 32 Super 7 Machined locks, 16 .565" ID machined spring bases, and 16 viton rubber seals. The larger ID spring bases are for use with bronze guides. This kit will work with both stock and aftermarket rocker arms. No cutting or machining of the stock spring pocket is needed.

*1 kit required per pair of heads.

Technical Specs:

Install Height: 1.800"
Max. Valve Spring Lift: 0.660"
Spring Pressure Closed: 155 lbs. @ 1.800"
Spring Pressure Open: 410 lbs. @ 1.140"
Coil Bind: 1.090"
Retainer Material: Titanium

I ran the Patriot dual springs (8501-B) for a while. Went to a cam with with .600 lift and it was valve float central. Broke a rocker arm. Not enough closed seat pressure. And yes all valvetrain geometry was correct.

Yea I actually bought a cam set with those patriot gold dual springs here locally and sold them after reading some stuff on them.

you won't lose much power with too much valve spring pressure.proper valve train geometry is important, get the correct length push rod and check you swipe pattern on your valves.

Ok so what all do I need to check? Installed height, seat presure, and what else?

The PRC .675's saved my engine due to this... Invest in them
