Default Trunion upgrade jig?

I'm gonna be upgrading my valvetrain on my f-body soon. Im using the comp kit. I do not have access to a press so I've read about a jig but can't seem to find anything on where to buy or make it. Can I just simply tap the old bearing out and install the new roller with a vise and hammer or will this damage the rocker. Thanks in advance

I knocked the old bearings out with a socket & hammer per the instructions. I didn't have a press either so I used the "caveman" method and installed the Comp trunnion & bearings using a socket & hammer. It was fast & easy. I had a couple that felt a little tight after installation but I just worked the trunnion back & forth with a little oil & they freed right up.

I bought the arbor press from harbor freight and it worked awesome. Not to mention I got a new tool out of the deal.

I had 2 different presses to use and just used my bench vice... It was really easy actually.

The Comp kit includes trunnions & roller bearings to replace the stock pieces, using the stock rocker body. You use a socket to pound out the factory stuff. Then you "press in" a new bearing in one side, slip in the trunnion, and then "press in" the 2nd bearing.

there is a sticky for this,do a search..use a big vise and sockets .use a smaller socket to press the old bearing out ,and a bigger socket to receive the pressed out bearing.a few mins in a oven mite help make it easier.
