I didn't twist a bolt in two before stripping out the threads in my block.

I do agree with not pulling the bolt, no reason to take another chance at stripping them out.

FWIW I have seen a number of posts on here where folks are using 2 90* passes on all 10 bolts and haven't seen any problems. I personally went with the 50* pass for the short bolts, by the time I got to them the thought of 2 more 90* turns was almost unbearable!

Well OK. Again I am leaving it alone and past that stage of assembly.

The new bolts I used were made by Fel Pro. At least thats what the boxes said.

Are they reusable?
