Default heads and intake for ms4 cam car

Hey I've got the mods right now in my sig. I've been wanting to get a fast intake setup now for a while, and also thinking about going with some new heads to while im at it. I was looking at getting the stage 2.5 5.3 heads from texas speed because they will up my compression and they clear with the ms4. How much of a gain do you think this will be over my ported 241s and ls6 intake. Also will i see much of a difference from a fast 92 to a 102?

03 Z06 obx headers & hi-flows/borla catback/patriot stg.2's/torquer v.3/bbk cai/ls2 fuel rail/fast 102 & gm 90mm electronic tb made 464/436. All stock bottom end. Your numbers with the MS4 should be higher in my opinion. My gto on torquer v.2 & stock 241's off the z06 mad 386/374. No way should I be even close to you in power.

With all your mods & fast 102 w/ nick williams throttle body and the heads you want IMO should put down 48Xrwhp & 44Xrwtq.

I don't think the numbers were that bad for ms4 cam only, every dyno is different.

If you had all the other mods done at the time of the dyno then your numbers are bad regardless of the dyno. That's my opinion though.

Get your FAST intake Mamofied by Tony @AFR.........
Given that the cnc heads should flow a guesstimated 30-40 cfm better
than the worked over 241's, with a new tune AND adecuate fuel system
(pump/injectors) I would guess 465 rwhp/430ish torque..potent for sure

Is there any way you could flycut? I think compression would help as much as the heads. It would also broaden your head choices. Then you could go the stage 2.5 LS6s.

Don't really want to flycut, I could but I would rather not. The 5.3 heads will raise compression already because they are a smaller combustion chamber.

The 2.5 5.3l heads do not fit with the MS4 with out flycutting. The larger valve kills too much clearance. If you want a larger valve with that cam you need to either flycut or go with an aftermarket casting head. From us you are basically limited to our stg 1.0 LS6 heads or our aftermarket 215/227 runner heads.

How do you think the Trickflow 225cc head and a 102 fast would do with the MS4? dont mean to hijack...im just in the same boat...

I think that package would do really well. Anytime you can pair a cam similar to the MS4 with an aftermarket head/intake package like that you usually see good performance. The aftermarket heads have much better mid range and low end power numbers which a lot of people are looking for on cams like the MS4.

I thought that the 5.3 heads did clear with the ms4. If I flycut with the 5.3s would I have better gains than just not flycutting and going with the stage 1 ls6 heads?

I think it would because then you can mill the heads a little and get some extra compression. Compression really helps out the larger cams.
