Injectors for Mild 5.3 Build Doing a mild 5.3 build with 10.5:1 compression, Elliot Lloyd ported 5.3 heads and a Comp Cams 200/212 .527/.510 117 cam. This is a truck motor that's going to see some mild towing. I'm wondering if the stock 5.3 injectors are upto the task. I have access to a set of 28.8 LS1 injectors. Will these fit the stock 5.3 intake or do I have to have a set of LS1 rails? What is the stock 5.3 injector size? I would like to send the ECM in for a tune and need to work out the injector size before then.
Prolly can reuse the 5.3 injectors. Or can use the truck version 42lb. From 8.1 trucks. I think the stock lq4 injectors can be used also. Idk if there any different from the 5.3s though
