The .595" lift cams (225, 229, and 231/237) will not have any PtV clearance issues on unshaved heads.

FastSS: The race style heads are ready to roll. It will just take about a week to two weeks to ship them at this point, because of the extra hand work involved. But you can order them now Give us a call for some package pricing, and we'll work anybody out some package pricing on these new setups!

TKhawk01 - We will have flow sheets ready to post very soon. As for the 239/244, we should have one ready to slide into an engine in the next 10 days or so. We've been making various tweaks to the camshaft as far as ramp rates and overall lift to get it where we want it. The newest master cam is being ground, and then we'll be sent the newest prototype. At that point, we'll check p-to-v clearance and get before and after dyno results. We expect VERY promising results.

Hi Jason

The third camshaft 244/252, what's your opinion if we install this cam on a stock bottom end.

Please tell us ASAP when you have the results of the second and third cams.

Thanks for advance.

The 244/252 is ready to roll guys, we hope to install one in our stock bottom end c5 in the next week, but don't expect it to be very streetable Its designed to be about as aggressive as you would want to be

So, Would either the MagicStick cam, or the Texas Giant be very streetable with a set of the stage 2 heads, and an lsx intake? The car is a 6-speed car with 4.10's. Would 1 5/8" Hooker LT's work, or would you want larger primaries?

Do you expect that cam to fit a stock shortblock, even with flycuts?

No way it will fit with uncut pistons, but it will be fine after a little cutting

Here are the pics of the race cylinder heads! These heads are ported by Patriot for us & then finished here at one of the top machine shops in the country!

Honestly I wouldn't expect either one to be very streetable, depends on your definition, as Joseph said:

Where are the dyno results and other comparisons to the typical 224?

May I ask Who would back a customer if the heads, say dropped a valve seat and destroyed a fairly new engine? BTW, I have a 10% off ticket for TSP, actually 2 but can combine!

Mr. Cat3 Texas Speed Series Race heads will all be assembled here in Texas at one of the best machine shops in the country. These heads will feature only the best in components & every set will be flowed & double checked to make sure they are the best heads on the market.

As far as the Patriot dropped seat is concerned that you insist on bringing up in our post. The race series heads feature our ports & will be built here in Lubbock Texas. The heads are Texas Speed heads, Patriot only does the port work on them...

Patriot has sold over 300 sets of LS style cylinder heads. 1 guy has actually came forward with a dropped seat & it was a GM factory installed seat! Those cylinder heads were not sold by Texas Speed therefore I would appreciate it if you would discuss Todd's dropped seat in another thread.

Thank You

Would these larger cams work okay with -2cc valve reliefs. I have forged pistons with valve reliefs and am in the market for a radical kicka** street cam that I can still drive on trips if needed. I have stage III prepped LS6 heads with 2.02/1.60 valves.
