Question Heads and intake help

Hey guys I am just going for a n/a motor and really want to put a good set of heads and intake manifold on the car. Im pretty much set on the fast 102 mm intake and throttle body setup but heads im not sure. Really the only thing i need help with is selection i was thinking of just building a set of stock ls1 heads or a set of LQ9 heads but didnt know if it would be worth the money or time invested.Or if i should just go buy a set of aftermarket heads and be done with it? All suggestions are appreciated.

How much are you looking to spend? What other mods are done to the car?

I have 2 sets of LS6 heads for sale if you check the for sale thread in my sig. One set are just stock LS6 heads ($550 shipped, 15k miles on them!), the other are Patriot Stage 2 heads with springs assembled already. They are $1300 new and I only want $1100 shipped for them (only have 300 miles on them)! PM me if interested. They are a great set of heads and will pick up a pretty nice chunk of HP.

IMO, Advanced Induction 243's if you are wanting to keep it under $2k and AFR 210cc if you are down with spending over $2k.
