Which Cam will pass CA Smog Easier???
the G.M. HotCam or the TSP 224/224-566/566-112 LSA ???? i know either one will need a different tune before smog inspection to get it by,but i'm wondering if they are about the same trouble.

i want the Kool sounding lope with the performance,i have already found a shop here in san jose that is going to install the cam,ive been garanteed with a little tweaking the Hotcam will definately pass. it has a great sound and fairly good performance numbers. was just wondering about bumping up the lift a little more if i could. thats why i'm asking about the difference between those 2 cams.

Best I've read about on the net passing is the 224/224 114lsa (.561 or .581 depending on brand you choose)
New Jersey is second only to California in emissions testing and thats what I am having TTP put in my Z06 next week.
From all the reseach on the net..its a Good balanced cam that with tuning has passed california emissions.

do a search for cali cams.
unless you can absolutely guarantee finding a shop that will pass you then dont push the envelope unless you dont mind cam swapping every 2 years.
