Default Head Identification

I am looking at a set of 243 heads. The guy says that they are out of a 2005 corvette. Are there any identifers (laser etch, etc) on the heads that will identify:

1) What valves it has (sodium, hollow, solid)
2) What springs it has (concerned about max lift if I do a cam swap)

Thanks for your help.

Thanks. Yes 243 casting. Thats easy. 243 was used on LS2 and LS6 right? What I am trying to find out is which these might be.

Thanks.

yes ls6 and ls2 got 243s, if you find 799 heads they are the same as ls2 243 heads. you wont be able to tell ls6 from ls2 243s unless you take the valves out if I remember correctly.

05 corvette will have ls2 243s, solid valves, yellow springs rated to .550 lift.

LS6 243's have the hollow/sodium filled valves.

The 05 vette ran an LS2 so have solid valves in the heads.....
