Thanks 2slow2flurry-ous, my shop is a bit too small. With all the "stuff" I have crammed inside it, there isnt much room to work. But if forces me to work clean anyways.

Got the transmission put in yesturday along with the harmonic dampener. That is a huge pain to get torqued down properly. We were able to get a bunch of wiring finished, radiator in, power steering cooler in, and the driveshaft and torque arm are in. Hopefully today I can finally turn it over. I also had my gauge overlay showup in the mail.

How many miles were on the engine before you started the rebuild?

Mileage....>174000. Thats a reason why I pulled it apart. After I checked clearences with bore gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators though everything was in damn good shape. The bores are only 0.001 bigger than the stock bore, when I fitted the rings everythinglined up good.

Ok, I hope my 145k LQ4 is in good enough shape to do exactly what you did. Thanks for the pics. Do you have a complete parts list of what you buy and any extras you forgot? you can PM me if you do. I want to make sure I have everything accounted for, but I know trips to the parts store are inevitable.
