Retainer weight, Titanium vs. Steel for 918 springs?

Retainer weight, Titanium vs. Steel for 918 springs? Has anyone weighed the two for comparison? The retainers for 918 or stock springs are pretty small. Is the weight difference significant?
I should be getting 918's and Ti retainers in tomorrow. If no one knows the weights I'll weigh mine and compare to stock steel retainers.
Thunder racing says they use the 918 springs on cams as large as their 230.
If I am running a T1 (221/221) cam, it doesn't seem like the Ti retainers would help much, if any.
Anyone have an opinion or facts on this?

Re: Retainer weight, Titanium vs. Steel for 918 springs? the lighter you can make the valve train the better off it will be,when the springs start too weakin in time the titannium retainers wiil keep the valves from floating,in other words, keep them on the nose of the cam!GET THEM !!
