Default head gasket bore size question

I have a bore of 4.03 can I use a gasket with a bore of 4.08?

yes you can i used 4.10: with my 4.03 before i have 4.06 now

Before you buy, measure the chamber width on the head as well. Sometimes the chamber width will dictate the gasket bore size.

That's correct. You need to go with a gasket that is bigger than the bore of the heads and and block.
