Default No oil pressure after pulley swap

I just changed my harmonic balancer because it was starting to wobble and squeak. After I installed the new pulley and started the car I had no oil pressure. I checked the o ring and it seemed ok. What are the chances my oil pump went bad also during this or am I just over looking some thing?

look at the sending unit may of went bad but changing a pulley has nothing to do with your oil system

It is possible that the wobbling and squeaking has eaten away at the crank snout. This would allow the new pulley to slide on too far and interfere with the oil pump. You would need to install the balancer with the front cover off to verify whether or not this is happening. If so it likely has damaged the oil pump.

I would'nt think the balancer would do that to the crank unless it somehow loosened up especially considering how tight these balancers are on the crank . Usually when the balancer is squeeking or wearing out it is the outer ring moving in and out sliding on the worn rubber ring . But I could be wrong , something I have never seen happen to a balancer . My repair manual says with the bolt removed the measurement from the end of the crank snout to the balancer hub should be between 3/32" and 11/64" .
